Confirmed: Republicans have lost their minds in Saucon

My Private Hellertown can confirm that Republican-aligned dark money groups are flooding Saucon Valley with disinformation.

They’re trying to meddle in the Democratic primary. They will fail.

A case in point are mailers that arrived at Democratic postal boxes in Hellertown today claiming that 7th PA Congressional District Ryan Crosswell is some kind of secret MAGA Manchurian candidate.

Considering Crosswell’s history of opposing Trump’s corruption, the disinformation is as illogical as it is transparent.

The mailer we saw includes fabricated AI-slop images, a red-capped Crosswell, and various bits of Trumpian imagery. It seeks to portray Crosswell as a fake Democrat.

Clearly, Republicans are petrified about putting Trump boot-licker Ryan Mackenzie up against Crosswell, but Crosswell hasn’t been the only target of such Republican misinformation trying to deflate perceived stronger Dem candidates.

A word of advice: Ignore all mailers. They’re the most lurid, sleazy currency of today’s political campaigns. Most of them end up in the garbage within minutes of being removed from mail boxes. Why? Because they are garbage.

There are so many dark money groups trying to put their little twists on the May 19 primary, it’s simply not worth trying to sort them out.

Also: I don’t think even the lowest of low-information Democratic voters are as credulous and ill-educated on the issues as MAGA voters. Our folks just aren’t dumb enough to buy hamfisted campaign misinformation. We Dems do stupid, too, of course, but not with same depth of Dumb as MAGA.
